This designed educational toy, whether for a child who is visually with sight or not, is one which can allow for all children to play together, and without differentiating the two. The toy Woodle, suitable for children who are 3 years and older, has been designed so that when children write the correct name of the animal they have also created its shape at the same time. In a method which is both fun and educational, it is also believed to develop cognitive and emotional intelligence.

Marlene and Maurice

Walking sticks were fashion accessories for centuries. They were pieces of art, beautifully crafted and were made of expensive materials and decorated with precious stones and pearls. In the second half of the 20th century, walking sticks lost their fashion component and became simple helping tool, a sign of weakness and/or old age. Marlene and Maurice are walking sticks are simple yet beautiful: they are made of contemporary material- (engraved)Plexiglas, with added LED-light in the base of the stick. The light turns on when the stick is pressed to the ground so the stick glows in the dark.

Penguin

Assisting senior people is always inspiring. Two months were spent in a care center to find out the major problems of the elder people. Continuous communication between seniors and caretakers is critical which is not practical specifically when the elders are assumed to be in their beds. Falling down and leaving bed occurs which are potentially harmful specifically for the ones with Alzheimer and sleepwalking problem.The Team have designed a sensor-based WiFi-aided light,the Penguin,to gently light the room and inform caretaker by a vibratory bracelet.The Penguin can also be used in hospitals.

Eatwell

Eatwell is a set of dishware that makes eating easier for people with cognitive (such as Alzheimer's and other dementias), motor (Parkinson's disease, various scleroses), physical (injury, infirmity), and visual difficulties. Major features include 1) High-contrast colors help users distinguish food from tableware and stimulate appetite 2) Specially curved spoons match the contours of the bowls to provide smoother, and easier motions 3) Slanted bottoms and deep chambers collect food at corners for easier scooping. 4)Anti-tip design prevents accidents from tipped cups and mugs.

Uppo

Poor posture is a common problem in the senior adult age group. Unlike conventional walkers, Uppo helps the user develop good posture habits. Uppo is an assistive mobility device that is used to ensure the stability and balance of the user. One of the results of good posture, stability and balance is overall improved confidence. The telescoping arms and collapsable body allow Uppo to take up the smallest footprint possible when not in use. This allows for maneuverable transport which encourages use outside of the house.
